Training workshop

The industrial-technical training takes place in Lippstadt in our own training workshop, as well as in Dortmund and in Eberswalde in training cooperations.

In our training workshop at the Lippstadt location you will learn practical, manual and mechanical basic skills. The workshop is located directly on our premises.

Four trainers supervise between 80 and 90 trainees. For one thing, our trainees teach you. For another, the machines are usually staffed with two trainees, one of whom is from a higher training year and supervises the new trainees. In this way, you will also benefit from the specialist knowledge already acquired by the other trainees.

After about two to three months in the trainee workshop you will come to your department, where you can immediately apply the skills you have learned. However, the training workshop will continue to be your point of contact, where you can return to between departmental assignments.

What is the training workshop for?

• Qualified specialists are to be trained in the training workshop.
• In addition to knowledge and skills, personal, social and character skills are also trained and developed.

What happens to the products produced in the training workshop?

• The products manufactured by you in the training workshop support or flow directly into production.

What machines does the training workshop have?

• Drilling machines, CNC lathes and milling machines, conventional turning and milling machines and sawing machines are available, as well as a separate welding area in the training workshop.
