Segmented slewing rings

Rothe Erde manufactures segmented and separated slewing bearings for every application where closed or non-separated designs cannot be used.

Separated bearings are mainly used as spare parts in cases where the companion structure does not allow for the installation of non-separated bearings, for example, for space reasons. If the companion structure cannot be lifted enough when replacing the original bearing, a separated version of the original bearing will be used (for example 2x180°, split).

rothe erde^® slewing bearings, which cannot be manufactured in one piece due to their size, will be manufactured and delivered in segmented versions. Since the segments are processed separately from one another, the highest level of precision is required to ensure that all parts mesh together when being assembled.
