Axial roller bearing – Optimal transfer of high axial forces

3D cross-sectional view of an axial roller bearing

Axial roller bearings are designed for applications where the shaft needs to transmit high axial forces. They effectively absorb axial forces in both directions and can withstand heavy impact loads, but they are not suitable for absorbing radial loads.

In addition, they are not self-retaining and are preferably used for centrically acting loads due to their rigid design. They are particularly suitable for low to moderate speeds. Axial roller bearings from Rothe Erde (series 13) are therefore mainly used in mechanical engineering and machine tools. These bearings are manufactured without gearings, with the rolling elements housed in a cage.

As a renowned and reliable manufacturer of axial roller bearings, Rothe Erde provides the perfect solution tailored to your specific application. We invite you to request a non-binding quote through our contact form.
