Structure rings

Structure elements have an extremely complicated cross section. They have a diameter of up to 5.5 metres at a weight of only 23 to 57 kg. Structure elements are used in the aerospace industry. Products manufactured by Rothe Erde can be found in areas of application with the highest demands, for example, in the Ariane 5 or the civil aviation industry. In the aerospace industry, titanium, aluminium, and materials with high nickel content are used to roll state-of-the-art rolling mills with a rolling force of up to 500 tons. Rothe Erde accompanies further development to ever greater dimensions. The company has made an investment which shall make the pressing of up to 6,000 tons of primary materials possible.
