Profile bearings - economic solution for limited space

A profile bearing in a digital 3D drawing

Our rothe erde® profile bearings are a special type of ball bearings. They are characterized by their weight-optimized design. The bearings support the axial load as well as the thrust and traction forces. Each profile bearing consists of two steel rings designed for flange mounting.

We distinguish between two types of profile bearings:

  1. Profile bearings, whose rings are bent and welded from L-profiles.

  2. Profile bearings whose rings are made of seamless rolled rings.

rothe erde® profile bearings are used primarily where space is limited, since the screw heads are inserted at the same height as the bearing. They, therefore, describe an extremely economical bearing variant.

We stock a large number of our profile bearings of both designs. A subcategory of profile bearings are our turntables, which are mainly used in automotive engineering.
