Our In-House Production in Detail
We set the standard right from the start: peeled steel bars form the foundation for our rollers. The raw material undergoes the strictest inspections to ensure the high Rothe Erde quality. Through specialized surface requirements and targeted ultrasonic testing, we guarantee that our raw materials are flawless – perfectly prepared for the subsequent production steps.
Our quality assurance is active at every stage: defective products never proceed to the next production phase. This ensures consistent quality throughout every step of the process. To achieve this, we rely on cutting-edge technologies, such as DMC scanners, which allow us to trace each roller seamlessly. This innovative approach guarantees the highest levels of precision and quality.
Transparency is a cornerstone of our work. Our traceability system, linked to our ERP system, stores all relevant data in real time. From dimensions to heat treatments – every detail is assigned to a unique serial number. This enables us to ensure that all production and customer requirements are met with precision.
Thanks to fully automated processes, manufacturing is both efficient and precise – achieving an impressive tolerance of just 0.005 mm. For perspective, depending on its thickness, a human hair measures between 0.04 and 0.09 mm.
