Professional background:

Following his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, Winfried Schulte studied Business Administration at the Saarland University in Saarbrücken as of 1987. After graduating with a business degree, he began his career at the former Hoesch Rothe Erde in Dortmund in 1992.

Mr. Schulte held various management positions over the years, including positions in the sales department of slewing bearings and senior project management. Winfried Schulte joined the management board of the German ThyssenKrupp Rothe Erde GmbH in 2005. From 2012 to 2013, he was also responsible for the realignment of the Components Technology business area within the thyssenkrupp group.

In 2013, Winfried Schulte was appointed CEO of what is now thyssenkrupp rothe erde Germany GmbH. Three years later, he took over the responsibility as CEO for the global business unit.

He continues to serve as CEO of thyssenkrupp rothe erde Germany GmbH at the same time.
