Since the age of 15, during a technical course in mechanics, I have been involved with the industrial environment and steel processing. That is where I fell in love with the industrial world, and my curiosity about how things are made led me to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
After working for a long period in technical roles, manufacturing parts and preparing cost estimations for industrial applications, I was invited to move into technical sales. I admit that I was initially resistant, but I soon discovered a world where I could combine two passions: technology and people.
Today, at Rothe Erde, I am grateful to work at the interface between engineering expertise and customer needs, supporting high‑performance solutions for demanding applications.
Visiting some remote plants, holding both online and in‑person meetings, collaborating from South America with a team located on the other side of the ocean, handling both technical and commercial demands in a multicultural environment and supporting equipment that cannot stop, especially in critical applications, ensures that every day brings a new challenge!
Thanks to the support of a highly committed team and the satisfaction of completing each mission together with our customers, overcoming these challenges becomes easier and transforms a fast‑paced environment into a rewarding and engaging journey.
A typical working day starts with planning, reviewing my calendar, checking customer requests, and defining priorities. I respond to customers and colleagues and send requests to my teammates in Germany to ensure that engineering topics, technical clarifications and proposals are progressing, while simultaneously planning site visits and customer support activities across the different markets we serve.
Between site visits and meetings, there is never a shortage of urgent messages, emails, or calls from customers who cannot afford equipment downtime. This responsibility makes my days dynamic, engaging, and far from monotonous.
The constant support of the team regardless of function, including sales, engineering, marketing, and other areas is essential for aligning priorities, managing urgency, and delivering reliable solutions in such a dynamic environment.
Being part of a team that works together not only to deliver highly efficient, engineered products, but also to foster a collaborative culture where people support each other and move in the same direction, ensuring sustainable solutions and a better future both inside and outside the workplace.
From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and respected at Rothe Erde, as if I had already been part of the team for many years. This strong sense of belonging has always made me feel at home and encouraged me to take ownership of my role.
I quickly embraced the idea of working with slewing bearing solutions that quite literally keep the world turning. Looking at the long term, it is nice to see that Rothe Erde continuously adapts to market and environmental requirements while maintaining its core values: teamwork, engineering excellence, and high‑quality products that customers can rely on.
